The numerous ongoing summer construction projects may surprise some concertgoers this weekend who are unfamiliar with the area or unaware of road closures.
The segment of Harrison Road from Trowbridge Road to Shaw Lane closed for construction would have likely been the route to visitors exiting of the US 127 highway would've used to get to Spartan Stadium.
This construction on Harrison Road is phase two of a two-year project, phase one of the project was completed earlier this summer.
The MSU police are ready for concertgoers this Sunday and any problems they might have or cause.
They have also put up temporary light fixtures in high traffic areas as they normally do for night football games.
Visitors from outside of East Lansing may be surprised to see the old Shaw Lane Power Plant's smokestack about halfway gone, as well as the progress that have been made in the renovation of Wells Hall.
